Jungkook has a tendency to steal ARMY’s hearts with his surprise pop music covers on BTS’ Soundcloud account. This time is a beautiful rendition of Dan + Shay and Justin Bieber’s hit single. Jungkook’s silky smooth vocals over a soft R&B/country/pop track makes for an awesome cover track. “I’d spend ten thousand hours and ten thousand more/ Oh, if that’s what it takes to learn that sweetheart of yours/And I might never get there, but I’m gonna try/ If it’s ten thousand hours or the rest of my life,” the lyrics read.

The visual album encompasses all different aspects of the African diaspora, ranging from South Africa, West Africa, Europe, New York, and L.A.

Keke Palmer explained her viral speech to soldiers during a Black Lives Matter rally during a virtual aftershow episode of Watch What Happens Live. Keke Palmer went on the E! show to talk to host Andy Cohen and guest Giselle Bryant about her powerful moment this past June. She attempted to encourage members of the National Guard to march with her during an L.A. protest, although they ultimately chose not to participate. However, Palmer understood why the soldier did not agree to participate with her.

Get Ready for BTS' Upcoming New Reality Show 'In the SOOP'

ARMY, get ready for BTS’ upcoming reality show, called In the SOOP via Weverse. SOOP means “forest” in Korean, and the show follows the septet on their outdoor adventures. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook pick their own schedules and do daily activities on their own, with minimal interference from management and company staff. The eight, hourlong episodes will be hosted by BTS themselves, with new episodes premiering every Wednesday at 10 am EST.

MacKenzie Scott, Former Wife of Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, Makes Multi Million-Dollar Donations to HBCUs

MacKenzie Scott puts her activism skills to good use by donating over $1 billion to a list of 116 historically black colleges and universities. The former wife of Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos, Scott gathered $1.7 billion from her extensive fortune to give to a number of Black universities and institutions. These institutions include Howard University, Hampton University, Xavier University, Morehouse College, Spelman College and Tuskegee.

Whole Foods Workers File Lawsuit After Allegedly Being Punished For Wearing Black Lives Matter Masks

Fourteen Whole Foods employees have filed a lawsuit against the corporation after allegedly being punished for wearing Black Lives Matter masks. Over 40 employees have been punished for wearing Black Lives Matter masks, the lawsuit stated. “Whole Foods’ selective enforcement of its dress code in disciplining employees who wear apparel expressing support for the Black Lives Matter movement constitutes unlawful discrimination,” the lawsuit continued.

Get Ready for BTS' New English Single Coming August 21

BTS is preparing for a new English-language single, coming August 21. The South Korean boy band is in the midst of releasing a new single sung entirely in English on August 21. The group is “preparing for a new album for the second half of this year,” but wanted to share something special for their adoring, dedicated fans, called ARMY. “Due to COVID-19, people around the world have been going through tough times and we wanted to share some positive energy with our fans,” they said in a statement.

New York's Planned Parenthood Plans to Remove Founder's Name Over Eugenics Views

New York’s location of Planned Parenthood has plans to remove founder, Margaret Sanger’s name from their roster over her harmful views on eugenics. Margaret Sanger did a lot to accomplish the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, which is a staple for supporting reproductive health for women. She opened the first headquarters back in 1916, which was illegal at the time. Her case led to the court ruling of doctors prescribing contraceptives for women for medical reasons.

Trump Calls Wearing a Mask ‘Patriotic’ After Mocking Biden For Wearing One

President Donald Trump has finally considered wearing a mask, two months after mocking Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden for doing the same. More than two months after the coronavirus pandemic began spreading around the world, Trump’s relationship with wearing masks in public has been strained. On April 3, he said, “Wearing a face mask as I greet presidents, prime ministers, dictators, kings, queens — I don’t know. Somehow, I don’t see it for myself.”

The Bahamas Bans United States Tourists From Visiting to Help Prevent Coronavirus Spread

In an effort to prevent more coronavirus outbreaks, the Bahamas has stopped tourists from traveling from the United States. It looks like traveling is limited away from the Bahamas for a while. Effective Wednesday, July 22, international commercial flights have been barred from entering the country. Sea vessels carrying commercial passengers are not permitted to enter, either. The only exceptions are the United Kingdom, the European Union and Canadian visitors who have tested negative.

In honor of his 30th birthday, Nigerian musician WizKid released his latest track, “Smile” featuring H.E.R. The Afrobeats artist gifted his fans today with a new track in celebration of his milestone 30th birthday, along with American R&B artist, H.E.R. The song is the first single to come from his latest album Made in Lagos, which is released today. This song is the perfect summer track for those who just want to see their favorite person smile.

It’s been four months since Louisville, KY native, Breonna Taylor, was shot to death in her sleep in her home, and the police officers involved in the incident still have not been arrested. On March 13, the EMT worker and aspiring nurse lost her life during a search raid by police officers who had barged into her apartment, where she was living with her boyfriend, Kenneth Walker.
